iPhone 6

iPhone 6 With 5.5 inch and 4.7 inch Diagonals

The latest rumors regarding the iPhone 6 have shown that the latest Apple handset may arrive in a few diagonal versions. Those include a 5.5 inch unit and a 4.7 inch smartphone. Both models have a 16:9 aspect ratio and the bigger model supports a 878 x 1568 pixel resolution, while the 4.7 incher has a 750 x 1338 pixel resolution and this is the vision of Federico Ciccarese:

The iPhone 6 concept made by Ciccarese Design includes a Touch ID sensor within the Home button and the screen shown here is an edge to edge one. As you can see at the back, the device is slightly curved and it has a very smooth back area. Seen from the back, the iPhone 6 may seem like some sort of high tech mouse.

Its speakers seem a tad bigger and now you can see how thin this model is in comparison with the iPhone 5s. It also ditches the rectangular format for even more rounded corners. The metallic ring is still present around the edges, but the ultraslim bezel makes the whole device even more elegant. I wonder if this edge to edge display is fragile when exposed to random hits on the sides of furniture for example.
What do you think of this design?

Galaxy S5

Super Slim Galaxy S5 Concept is All Metal, Glass and Capacitive Buttons

With the supposed launch of the Galaxy S5 taking place next month, it’s time to check out yet another concept of the flagship smartphone of 2014. This one stands out through the fact it’s made of metal and glass and it has capacitive buttons.

Sayed Mujtaba has created this phone, that’s pretty wide compared to the elongated Galaxy S models of the past years. The handset comes with a 4.2 inch 4K display, a 16 megapixel camera and a slick design. The front Home button is gone, being replaced by what look like capacitive buttons. It’s strange that in some images the Galaxy S5 seems elongated and in others it seems wider and less long.
By the way this phone has a metallic body and a pretty well done one actually. I like the earpiece area very much and the designer claims this smartphone measures 6.95 mm, making the iPhone 5s look obese. What do you think of this edge to edge Samsung Galaxy S5 render?

iPhone 6C Design

iPhone 6C Designed by Caelan Cooper, Features Bigger Screen

The creator of the iphone 6x concept  from a few months ago is back, this time with an iPhone 6C render, that’s shown below in a detailed gallery. This iPhone 6C keeps the unibody design of the original iPhone 5C, but this time it has a bigger screen.

Screen bezels are also reduced and the new handset is described as “razor thin”. The iPhone 6C comes in the original 5 colors of the 5C model and it also includes space gray this time. The smartphone features a 4.8 inch screen is mathematically calculated to include exactly one more row and an extra column of apps.

This iPhone concept will have a color of the Home button and trim of the C area matching the color of the polycarbonate back side. The phone measures 7 mm in thickness this time and it’s the thinnest iPhone ever. As you can see from the pics, the handset has been made wider and a bit more rectangular, plus there’s an extra elegant vibe thanks to the reduced thickness.
