iPhone 8 2017 Gets Its Own Trailer, Adopts Touch Edges (Video)

If you’re sick of the Galaxy S7 hype, you may want to have a look at the following iPhone 8 2017 render. Created by ConceptsiPhone, the device has a brand new design, that involves touch-enabled sides. More in the video below!

So, this iPhone 8 concept adopts a 5K OLED display with side screens, iOS 10 and uses 6 GB of RAM. It has an Apple A10 octa core processor, clocked at 2.5 GHz, as well as a 20 megapixel back camera and a 3000 mAh battery. The general format has changed hugely from the predecessors, aside from the edge screen thingie.

There’s still a Home button in the mix, which may be nixed once Apple figures out how to implement the fingerprint scanner into the screen panel. The iPhone 8 concept has very slim bezels, almost non existing and keeps its metal chassis, but I bet that the back is now made of glass.

One would think that the trio of Xperia Z5 models would be enough for Sony fans. Well, not quite, so now we’ve got the Sony Xperia Z5 Plus, rendered by Babak Soren. You’re probably wondering what this model can bring extra compared to a 4K display handset.

This model packs a 5.3 inch IPS LCD Full HD display and a Snapdragon 820 processor, as well as 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. At the back there’s a 23 megapixel camera and inside a 3100 mAh battery. The Xperia Z5 Plus keeps the tradition of Xperia follow-ups having modest upgrades from their predecessors. This can be seen as some sort of Xperia Z5S, or something like it.

The design doesn’t change very much from the previous gen Xperias, maybe aside from the look of the camera on the colored versions. The Power button is also highlighted thanks to the integrated fingerprint scanner and the edges may just be narrower than on previous Xperias.
